Network Connectivity
Our network is connected to multiple Tier 1 providers on a multi-homed, redundant network featuring Gigabit capacity. Connectivity is provided by multiple DS-3 circuits. Fiber optic connections enter the building through physically separate conduits on disparate sides of the building ensuring that your website will remain online and accessible even in the unlikely event of a fiber cut.

Network Infrastructure
All network wiring is factory tested and terminated Cat5e Gigabit Ethernet wiring to ensure maximum bandwidth. Carrier Class Cisco 7500 and 7200 series routers ensure that traffic moves through our network quickly and reliably. Cisco Catalyst 3500 series switches ensures that your site will not be down as a result of inferior hardware failure.

Security
All data center personnel go through a rigorous background security check and data center access is limited to data center personnel only. Access is strictly monitored. Advanced access controls and 24x7x365 surveillance ensure that your systems are protected.

Multiple high performance firewalls transparently provide both policy based security and real-time IPS (Intrusion Prevention Services). Deep packet inspection technology protects your servers against hackers, DOS (Denial of Service) and other attacks using intelligent, real-time protection against sophisticated application layer and content-based attacks.

Monitoring
Without server monitoring an organization can suffer security breaches or basic failures without even knowing about it. All routers, switches, servers and backbone connections are monitored 24x7x365.

Proactive monitoring of key services on each server allows identification of processes that have become sluggish or unresponsive. Unresponsive processes are automatically restarted and if necessary a network technician is alerted for additional follow up.

Integrated hardware monitoring equipment is utilized in all our servers to alert technicians to potential issues with server hardware and data storage arrays often before a hardware failure occurs.

Sophisticated systems are used to capture data that reports on the performance and health of the network and servers. These metrics are reviewed to optimize performance, availability and to track the health of servers.

Power Distribution, Cooling and Fire Suppression
Redundant state-of-the-art 10 ton water-tower cooled HVAC units maintain the ideal temperature and level of humidity to ensure optimal server performance in an environment safe from condensation and static electricity.

Power systems are designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All servers are fed with conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power that provides instantaneous failover if utility power fails. In the event of an extended power outage diesel generators can run indefinitely. PDUs (Power Distribution Units) provide remote power usage monitoring and management.

FE-25 gas fire suppression protects your data from fire damage and allows us to avoid water damage from a sprinkler system discharge.
